Your relationship with money is deeply personal, rooted in your upbringing, how you’ve saved, and your priorities for life. Perhaps you worked hard all your life, and saved for the future. Perhaps you inherited money from family. Perhaps you feel like you haven’t done enough.
We can help you pull the pieces together to bring clarity to what you have and how to achieve what you want. How do we do that? By asking the right questions, and truly listening to your answers. Because at the heart of every financial plan is something no spreadsheet can capture: you.
After decades in financial planning, we have worked with people from every background and every stage of life. One thing we see consistently: most people are not sure what questions to even ask, let alone where to find the answers. That is where we come in.
We know the questions. We will help you understand your choices, clearly and without jargon, so you can make informed decisions with a trusted advisor by your side, every step of the way.
First and foremost, we work remotely and meet via Zoom, so we can meet wherever you are. No worrying about locating the office, finding parking, or dressing for a formal meeting. We travel to see clients across the nation from time to time, so let us know if that is important to you.
Working with us starts with the basics: gathering data from the miscellaneous places dollar signs appear in your life. Taxes, pensions, mortgages, expenses, paychecks, budgets, and of course your investments. Then we look at the patterns those pieces show us.
From there, we talk about what matters to you: funding an education, navigating a career change, planning for retirement, all the way to what legacy you want to leave behind.
We use these numbers to create a foundational roadmap of the journey ahead, and then we ask, “what if?” What if you want to retire earlier? Work less? Give more to causes you care about? Each choice shifts the picture, and we explore those questions with you so you can see how the journey changes with each choice you make.
Then we help you build a plan and put it into motion. That might mean saving more, or saving differently. It might mean protecting the people you love with the right insurance. It might give you the confidence to finally make that career move you have been dreaming about.
We review your roadmap together every year, adjusting where needed and celebrating the milestones along the way.
A plan that starts with your people and your purpose, then works out the money. It is written in plain language, and it changes as your life does.
Portfolios built on decades of evidence rather than forecasts, held at an independent custodian, and aligned to what your plan actually needs from them.
The moments that reshape a financial life: retiring, selling a business, settling an estate, caring for someone who can no longer act for themselves.
We believe managing your investments has to be based on a deep understanding of how and when the funds will be needed, but equally important, what allocation will let you sleep at night. We walk you through our recommendations so you understand what we have chosen for you and how it fits the bigger picture.
We seek out investments that are low-cost and well-suited to your needs and risk tolerance. We focus primarily on low-cost exchange-traded funds to provide broad diversification.
Because we believe your money should reflect your values, we offer socially responsible investment options alongside traditional ones. That gives you the opportunity to align your portfolio with companies working toward a greater good, while minimizing exposure to sectors like fossil fuels, firearms, and addictive substances.
Investing can feel overwhelming. A clear, personalized roadmap makes all the difference, not just for your portfolio but for your peace of mind. When you understand the plan behind your investments, market volatility becomes less frightening. You are not reacting to headlines; you are grounded in a strategy built around your own needs and values.
We publish our fees clearly and openly because we believe you deserve to understand the cost of advice before making any decisions. You should not have to ask twice, wait for a proposal, or read between the lines to know what financial planning and investment management cost.
Fees can sometimes feel like an uncomfortable topic, especially when the financial industry does not always explain them well. For us, transparency is part of the relationship. We are paid for the time, experience, care, and ongoing attention we bring to your financial life. That includes building and monitoring an investment portfolio that is aligned with your financial plan. Performance matters, of course, but the value of our work goes beyond numbers on a statement. You are not paying to be placed into a cookie-cutter solution; you are paying for thoughtful guidance, personalized advice, and a planning relationship centered on your individual needs and values.
Fees may be negotiable under limited circumstances. Read these alongside Items 4 and 5 of our Form ADV Part 2A, available on the Investment Adviser Public Disclosure website.
The fee below is what you pay us to manage your investments and keep your plan current. It is a percentage of the money we manage for you, not a charge per meeting or per phone call, and it is the only thing we are paid on that money. We take it in four quarterly pieces, at the start of each quarter.
Because it is a percentage, it moves with your balance. If your portfolio falls, what you pay us falls with it.

Most of our investment management is conducted through fee-based accounts, which means we do not earn commissions for selling you products. Our interests are aligned with yours. We take no performance-based fees, and we accept nothing from any third-party money manager or robo-adviser.
Being fee-based rather than fee-only means one thing worth stating plainly: if an insurance or annuity product is genuinely the right fit for you, arranging it may pay a commission to the licensed agent who places it. That can be considered a conflict of interest. We would rather you read it here than find it in a footnote. We act as a fiduciary and will bring options to the table because we believe they fit your personal needs, not our bottom line. It is disclosed in our Form ADV Part 2A, and you are always free to buy that product somewhere else.
Your assets are held at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., an independent custodian, not by us. We never take custody of your money. Beyond our fee, Schwab charges its own brokerage and transaction fees, and the funds we invest in carry their own internal costs. Those go to Schwab and to the fund companies, not to us, and the detail is in Items 4 and 5 of our Form ADV Part 2A.
